It is my pleasure and honor to invite you to the International Basic Neurosurgery Course, which will be held in Antalya, Turkey, March 14-17, 2012.
International Basic Neurosurgery Course is designed for residents in training and junior neurosurgeons. These consist of four annual courses of 4 days each, covering the key topics of Vascular Neurosurgery, Tumor, Neurotrauma/Functional, and Spine/Peripheral Nerves. Hence, the course cycle will take four years to complete. These courses offer modern education methods including interactive discussions, panels, video sessions, case discussions with board type questions. Specific course features include up to 10 hours of daily lectures, nearly 100 topics in each course.
Turkish Neurosurgical Society offers up to 2 scholarships to neurosurgery residents from each developing country. We would like to invite all young neurosurgery residents to apply for International Basic Neurosurgery Course Scholarship. All accommodation, registration and social event fees will be gladly covered by Turkish Neurosurgical Society.

This course is a product of long years of experience and dedication. We were and are stil doing this course in Turkish where the level of standarts are extremely high. The design of the International BNC in English was proposed by our international colleagues. With the goal of global education and ultimacy, we have constructed a high level course. The curriculum of whole neurosurgery is divided into 4 annual courses. Over 100 topics will be reviewed in each course with interactive case presentations, discussion sessions and digital voting lectures.
You will be spending 4 days with your Turkish counter-parts, will get an insight to different cultures and friendship. This year’s BNC will be held in lovely Antalya, the pearl of the Turkish Riviera. You will enjoy the beauty of Mediterranean at the beginning of spring.
